Q. Where is RNR Rentals located?

A. Our head office is at 7/ 314 Hoxton Park Rd Prestons 2170 in Sydney. We have several locations around sydney, please view our 'Locations' page for more details

Q. What are your hours of operation?

A. Head office is open 8.30am to 5.00pm Mon- Fri. and 8.30am to 12.00pm sat. Some other locations are 24 Hours but please view our 'Locations' page for more details.

Q. What do i need with me when i hire a vehicle?

A. You need a current and valid NSW licence and the applicable deposit. Plus we require 3 forms of I.D eg. drivers licence, medicare, key card.

Q. How much is the deposit when i hire?

A. the deposit when hiring a ute is $300.00 and a truck is $500.00.

Q. Are all your vehicles fully insured?

A. Yes. All our vehicles are fully insured but in the event of an accident the hirer must pay an insurance excess.

Q. Can i use the motorways?

A. Our vehicles are NOT fitted with E tags. The hirer/driver is responsible for paying there own tolls. If RNR Rentals receives a toll notice, Then RNR Rentals will charge the hirer/ driver a $20 administration fee.

Q. How much is the insurance Excess if i have an accident in a ute?

A. The standard excess is $2000. For drivers aged between 21- 25 an age excess of $750.00 applies in addition to the Standard excess

Q. How much is the insurance Excess if i have an accident in a Truck?

A. The standard excess is $4500. This Excess can be reduced to $2000 by paying a daily fee of $20.00.

Q. What size is the back of the Ute, Truck, Van?

Q. Can I return the vehicle outside normal operating hours?

A. No. Must be returned within business hours.

Q. Can i go anywhere with the vehicle and can I pick up a vehicle at one location and return it to another? (one way hire)

A. No. Unfortunatly we don't allow long distance or interstate trips. Sydney metro only and unfortunatly at the moment we do NOT allow one way hire.

Q. What age do I need to be to hire or drive a vehicle?

A. Must be 21 and over to hire/drive a Ute. Must be 25 and over to hire/drive a truck. All drivers must hold a full NSW licence. No 'L' or 'P' plate drivers can hire.

Q. Can other people drive the vehicle as well as myself and is there a fee for additional drivers?

A. Yes. We do allow additional drivers but unlike our competitors there is no additonal fees. However Additional drivers must be named on the rental agreement and be present at time of hire with photo I.D to sign the rental agreement. Persons driving who are not named on contract are not covered by insurance.
